1818 – Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, “Shall I tell you something about the Dajjal that no prophet ever told his people? He is one-eyed, and he will come with a likeness of Paradise and Hell; what he calls Paradise is in fact Hell.” Agreed upon.

1819 – Ibn ʿUmar (may Allah be pleased with them both) said that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, while addressing the people, mentioned the Dajjal and declared, “Allah is not one-eyed; indeed, the false messiah Dajjal is blind in his right eye—it looks like a bulging grape.” Agreed upon.

[Explanation] These numerous hadiths that the author—may Allah have mercy on him—has marshalled to describe the Dajjal are truly deserving of citation and remembrance, for the Prophet ﷺ said, “Between the creation of Adam…"
