“Blessed is He who has sent down the Criterion to His servant so that he may be a warner to all the worlds” (al-Furqan 25:1)—to every single world.
Allah the Exalted also says: “Say, ‘O mankind, I am the Messenger of Allah to you all. To Him belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth; there is no deity but He. He gives life and causes death. So believe in Allah and His Messenger, the unlettered Prophet, who believes in Allah and His words, and follow him so that you may be guided.’” (al-Aʿraf 7:158). Thus, he is a messenger to all of creation.
The Prophet—peace and blessings be upon him—swore: “By the One in whose hand is my soul, no one of this ummah, whether Jew or Christian, hears about me and then dies without believing in what I was sent with except that he will be among the people of the Fire.”
Accordingly, we hold and believe that every Christian, Jew, and all other disbelievers are people of the Fire, for this is the testimony of the Prophet ﷺ. Paradise is forbidden to them because they are disbelievers, enemies of Allah the Exalted and of His messengers—peace be upon them—enemies of Abraham, Noah, Muhammad, Moses, Jesus, and all the messengers, peace be upon them.
His words “to testify that there is no god but Allah” together with “and that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah” unite the two conditions of worship: sincerity to Allah and following the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him. Whoever says, “There is no god but Allah” has thereby devoted himself solely to Allah, and whoever testifies that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah
