Chapter: The prohibition of harboring unjustified suspicion toward Muslims
Allah the Exalted says: “O you who believe, avoid much suspicion; indeed, some suspicion is sin” (49:12).
1573 – Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, “Beware of suspicion, for suspicion is the most false of speech.” Agreed upon.
The same narration from Abu Hurayrah appears in the next chapter, and we have already discussed it, as well as the foregoing verse—“O you who believe, avoid much suspicion; indeed, some suspicion is sin”—in earlier sections.
And Allah is the One who grants success.
