From this report it is clear that you should engage frequently in the remembrance of Allah in every situation. The scholars, however, have said that one should not mention Allah in filthy places, such as the locations where one relieves oneself (the latrines) and the like, in deference to the sanctity of Allah’s remembrance in those spots. So have some of the scholars stated, and Allah knows best.
