1154 – Salman (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said, “When a man bathes on Friday, purifies himself as best he can, applies some of his own oil or touches some perfume from his house, then goes out without separating two people, performs whatever prayer has been written for him, and listens attentively when the imam begins to speak, he will have the sins committed between that Friday and the next forgiven.” Narrated by al-Bukhari.
