and against it will be whatever it has incurred. Our Lord, do not call us to account if we forget or fall into error. Our Lord, do not place upon us a burden like that which You laid upon those before us. Our Lord, do not charge us with what we have no strength to bear. Pardon us, forgive us, and have mercy on us. You are our Protector, so grant us victory over the disbelieving people.”

These are seven distinct supplications; no believer offers them with assured faith except that Allah answers him. This is a remarkable privilege and a tremendous favor. We ask Allah, Mighty and Exalted, to pardon us and you, and to grant us victory over the disbelieving people.
