Sharḥ Riyāḍ al-ṢāliḥīnIbn al-'Uthaymin

then it is soundly reported from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) that when Sūrat al-Fātiḥah is recited over a sick person, he is cured by it. A Companion (may Allah be pleased with him) once recited al-Fātiḥah over the chief of a tribe who had been stung, and the man rose as though freed from shackles—that is, he was completely healed. The Quran is indeed a healing: “O mankind, there has come to you an admonition from your Lord, a healing for what is in the breasts, and a mercy for the believers” (Q 10:57).

Therefore, my Muslim brother, whenever you halt at a campsite—whether on land or at sea, or at any place where you intend to sleep or the like—say, “I seek refuge in the perfect words of Allah from the evil of what He has created.” Nothing will harm you until you set out again from that place. Allah is the One who grants success.
