and those whom Allah destroyed on this very earth, lest someone be struck by the same punishment that befell them—whether because of his disbelief in Allah, making him deserving of that torment, or as a penalty exacted upon him even without disbelief. When he stands before Allah on the Day of Resurrection, Allah is fully aware of His servants. Allah is the One who grants success.
