That incident is but one example, and it springs from the Prophet’s ﷺ blessings: Allah placed abundant blessing in him so that he would teach whenever the moment was right. In the same way, both the seeker of knowledge and the ordinary Muslim—indeed anyone who knows a sunnah—should clarify it whenever an occasion presents itself. Do not protest, "I am not a scholar." True, you are not a scholar, yet you do have knowledge. The Prophet ﷺ said, "Convey from me even if it is a single verse." Therefore, a person should seize every opportunity: whenever a chance arises to spread the sunnah, spread it, and you will earn its reward and the reward of everyone who acts upon it until the Day of Resurrection.
