—for example, you ask leave to enter upon someone and he answers, “Go back; I am busy at the moment.” Some people, when they hear such a reply, feel upset, and this is a mistake, for people have private needs inside their homes and may be preoccupied with matters—or with other visitors—that are more pressing. So if you request permission to enter a person’s house and he says, “I am busy just now; please come back,” withdraw in complete ease and peace of mind, because this is what the Sacred Law enjoins.
