Another narration states: “Indeed, on the day Allah created the heavens and the earth He created one hundred mercies; each mercy fills the space between heaven and earth. He placed one of them on the earth—through it a mother is tender toward her child and wild beasts and birds show kindness to one another. When the Day of Resurrection comes, He will complete the total with this very mercy.”
11/422 — He (Abu Hurayrah) also reported that the Messenger of Allah said, “By Him in whose hand my soul is, were you not to commit sins, Allah would remove you and bring a people who would commit sins, then seek forgiveness from Allah, and He would forgive them.” Reported by Muslim.
11/423 — Abu Khalid ibn Zayd (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I heard the Messenger of Allah say, “Were you not to sin, Allah would create a people who would sin, then seek forgiveness, and He would forgive them.” Reported by Muslim.
13/424 — Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) related: We were sitting with the Messenger of Allah, with Abu Bakr and ‘Umar among a group of companions, when the Messenger of Allah stood up from our midst and was gone for a while. We feared that something might befall him, and alarm seized us, so we rose; I was the first to do so. I went out searching for the Messenger of Allah until I came to an orchard belonging to the Ansar … (He mentioned the incident in full up to the point where) the Messenger of Allah said: “Go, and whoever you meet beyond this wall who testifies that there is no god but Allah, his heart being certain of it, give him the glad tidings of Paradise.” Reported by Muslim.
