—and who is truer to His covenant than Allah? Rejoice, then, in the bargain you have concluded, for that is the supreme triumph.⦗9:111⦘
So whoever is afraid—that is, whoever harbors fear of Allah in his heart—will do the righteous deeds that will rescue him from the very thing he fears.
As for the hadith of ʿĀʾishah (may Allah be pleased with her), she said: I heard the Prophet ﷺ say, “People will be gathered on the Day of Resurrection barefoot, naked, and ghurlan (uncircumcised).” In other words, they will be collected together on the Day of Judgment barefoot, with no sandals; naked, wearing no clothes; and uncircumcised.
People will rise from their graves just as their mothers bore them—fully formed—exactly as Allah, the Exalted, has said: “Just as We originated the first creation, We shall repeat it.”⦗21:104⦘ ʿĀʾishah then asked, “O Messenger of Allah, men and women together—looking at one another?” He replied, “The matter is far too grave for that to concern them, or for them to look at one another.” In other words, the affair is tremendously serious; no one will look at anyone else, “for each person that Day will have a matter preoccupying him.”⦗80:37⦘
We ask Allah, the Exalted, to save us and you from the punishment of the Fire, and to make us and you among those who fear Him and hope in Him.
