10/369 — Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that a Bedouin once asked the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, “When is the Last Hour?” The Messenger of Allah ﷺ replied, “What have you prepared for it?” He said, “Love for Allah and His Messenger.” The Prophet ﷺ then said, “You will be with those you love.”
Agreed upon, and this is Muslim’s wording.
In another narration collected by both of them he added, “I have not prepared for it abundant fasting, prayer, or charity; rather, I love Allah and His Messenger.”

11/370 — Ibn Masʿūd (may Allah be pleased with him) said: A man came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and asked, “O Messenger of Allah, what do you say about someone who loves a people but has not yet reached their rank?” The Messenger of Allah ﷺ answered, “A person will be with those he loves.”
Agreed upon.

12/371 — Abū Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Prophet ﷺ said, “People are like mineral ores—like the ores of gold and silver. The best of them in the pre-Islamic era are the best of them in Islam, provided they gain understanding. Souls are mustered troops: those that recognize one another unite, and those that find one another strange diverge.”
Related by Muslim. Al-Bukhārī also transmitted the phrase “Souls…,” and so on, through the narration of ʿĀʾishah (may Allah be pleased with her).
