39 – Chapter: The Neighbor’s Rights and the Command to Uphold Them
Allah the Exalted says: “Worship Allah and associate nothing with Him; show kindness to parents, to relatives, to orphans, to the poor, to the neighbor who is a relative, to the neighbor who is a stranger, to the companion at your side, to the traveler, and to those whom your right hands possess.” [4:36]

2/304 – Abū Dharr (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, “O Abū Dharr, when you cook a stew, add extra water to it and remember your neighbors.” Narrated by Muslim.
In another narration collected by Muslim, Abū Dharr said: My close friend ﷺ advised me, “When you cook stew, increase its broth, then look to the households among your neighbors and give them a reasonable share of it.”
3/305 – Abū Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Prophet ﷺ said, “By Allah, he does not believe! By Allah, he does not believe! By Allah, he does not believe!” It was asked, “Who, O Messenger of Allah?” He replied, “The one whose neighbor is not safe from his harm.” Agreed upon.
