and he says, “Tomorrow.” When the creditor returns the next day he replies, “The day after tomorrow,” and so it goes. It has been authentically reported that the Prophet—peace and blessings be upon him—said, “Delaying payment by one who is solvent is injustice.”

Since it is indeed injustice, every hour or even moment that passes while he is able to settle his debt only increases his sin. We ask Allah to grant us and you safety and well-being.
