- Al-Hasan ibn Uthman informed us: Ahmad ibn Hamdan narrated to us; Ahmad ibn al-Hasan narrated to us; Abd al-Samad narrated to us, saying: I heard Fudayl ibn Iyad say:
“Allah has servants through whom He brings the lands to life: they are the people of the sunnah. Whoever is mindful of what enters his stomach, ensuring that it is lawful, is among the party of Allah.”
٥١ - أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ , ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ حَمْدَانَ , ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ , ثنا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ , قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ فُضَيْلَ بْنَ عِيَاضٍ يَقُولُ: «إِنَّ لِلَّهِ عِبَادًا يُحْيِي بِهِمُ الْبِلَادَ , وَهُمْ أَصْحَابُ السُّنَّةِ , وَمَنْ كَانَ يَعْقِلُ مَا يَدْخُلُ جَوْفَهُ مِنْ حِلِّهِ كَانَ مِنْ حِزْبِ اللَّهِ»
