886 – ‘Abd al-Raḥmān mentioned him and said: Muḥammad ibn ‘Alī ibn Sa‘īd al-Nasā’ī related to us: I heard Qutaybah ibn Sa‘īd say: “The position of the leading scholars that is upheld in Islam and the sunnah is to believe in the Beatific Vision and to affirm the hadiths reported from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ concerning the Vision.”
