Abd al-Rahman mentioned it, saying: Isma‘il ibn Salih al-Halwani narrated to us: I heard Muhammad ibn Sulayman al-Massisi, known as Luwayn, say: Ibn Uyaynah was asked about these hadiths concerning the vision of Allah which he narrated. He replied, “They are true. We narrate them as we heard them from those whom we trust and approve of.”

878—Abu Marwan al-Tabari narrated from him: “We do not pray behind a Jahmi; and a Jahmi is one who says, ‘He will not see his Lord on the Day of Resurrection.’”
