875—Abd al-Rahman ibn Ahmad al-Qazwini informed us: Muhammad ibn Ahmad ibn Mansur al-Qattan narrated to us; Abd al-Rahman ibn Abi Hatim narrated to us; Isma'il ibn Abi al-Harith narrated to us; al-Haytham ibn Kharijah narrated to us: I heard al-Walid ibn Muslim say, “I asked al-Awza'i, Sufyan al-Thawri, Malik ibn Anas, and al-Layth ibn Sa'd about these hadiths concerning the Beatific Vision. They replied: ‘Let them pass as they have come, without asking how.’”
٨٧٥ - أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ الْقَزْوِينِيُّ، قَالَ: ثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مَنْصُورٍ الْقَطَّانُ، قَالَ: ثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ أَبِي حَاتِمٍ، قَالَ: ثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ أَبِي الْحَارِثِ، قَالَ: ثَنَا الْهَيْثَمُ بْنُ خَارِجَةَ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ الْوَلِيدَ بْنَ مُسْلِمٍ، يَقُولُ: سَأَلْتُ الْأَوْزَاعِيَّ وَسُفْيَانَ الثَّوْرِيَّ، وَمَالِكَ بْنَ أَنَسٍ، وَاللَّيْثَ بْنَ سَعْدٍ عَنْ هَذِهِ الْأَحَادِيثِ الَّتِي فِيهَا الرُّؤْيَةُ , فَقَالُوا: «أَمِرُّوهَا بِلَا كَيْفَ»
