854 — Ahmad ibn Muhammad informed us. He said: Umar ibn Ahmad al-Wa‘iz informed us. He said: Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn Ali al-Riyahi narrated to us. He said: Ahmad ibn Abdullah ibn Ziyad al-Tustari narrated to us. He said: Sulayman—that is, Ibn al-Hakam al-Basri—narrated to us. He said: Hushaym narrated to us, from Mujalid, from al-Sha‘bi, from Hudhayfah ibn al-Yaman, who said:

We were sitting with the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, on the night of the full moon. He raised his head toward the moon and said: “You will surely see your Lord just as you see this; you will suffer no hardship or crowding in seeing Him at all.”
