840 — Muhammad ibn al-Husayn al-Farisi informed us; he said: Abu al-Husayn ibn Abd al-Malik ibn Yahya al-Za'farani informed us; he said: Ahmad ibn Sa'd al-Zuhri narrated to us; he said: Yahya ibn Sulayman narrated to us; he said: Yahya ibn Yaman narrated to us; he said: Sufyan narrated to us, from Thuwayr, from Mujahid, from Ibn Umar, tracing it back to the Prophet, who said:

“Indeed, the lowest in rank among the people of Paradise will be one who looks upon his dominion for a thousand years, seeing its farthest extent just as he sees its nearest part. And the highest of you in rank will be those who look upon Allah morning and evening.”
