838 — And Ahmad ibn Ubayd informed us: Ali ibn Abdullah ibn Mubashshir informed us: Ahmad ibn Sinan related to us: Yazid ibn Harun related to us: Hammad ⦗535⦘ ibn Salamah informed us, from Ya'la ibn Ata, from Waki' ibn Udus, from his paternal uncle Abu Razin, who said: I said, “Messenger of Allah, will all of us see Allah on the Day of Resurrection? And what is the sign of that in His creation?” He said, “Abu Razin, does not each of you look upon the moon as though he were alone with it?” I said, “Indeed.” He said, “Allah is greater, and that is His sign in His creation.”

٨٣٨ - وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مُبَشِّرٍ، قَالَ: ثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ سِنَانٍ، قَالَ: ثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا حَمَّادُ ⦗٥٣٥⦘ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ يَعْلَى بْنِ عَطَاءٍ، عَنْ وَكِيعِ بْنِ عُدُسٍ، عَنْ عَمِّهِ أَبِي رَزِينٍ، قَالَ: قُلْتُ: يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَكُلُّنَا نَرَى اللَّهَ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ؟ وَمَا آيَةُ ذَلِكَ فِي خَلْقِهِ؟ قَالَ: " يَا أَبَا رَزِينٍ أَلَيْسَ كُلُّكُمْ يَنْظُرُ إِلَى الْقَمَرِ مُخْلِيًا بِهِ؟ قُلْتُ: بَلَى , قَالَ: «فَاللَّهُ أَعْظَمُ وَذَلِكَ آيَتُهُ فِي خَلْقِهِ»
