836 — Al-Qasim ibn Ja‘far informed us; Ali ibn Ishaq ibn Muhammad informed us; he said: Ali ibn Harb related to us; he said: Ishaq ibn Abd al-Wahid related to us; he said: Abu Asim al-Abbadani related to us; he said: Al-Fadl al-Raqashi related to us, from Muhammad ibn al-Munkadir, from Jabir ibn Abd Allah, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said:
“While the people of Paradise are enjoying their bliss, their Lord, exalted is He, appears before them. They raise their heads, and behold, their Lord is looking down upon them. He says, ‘Peace be upon you, people of Paradise.’ This is His saying: ‘Peace—a word from a Merciful Lord’ [Ya-Sin: 58]. He looks upon them, and they look at Him—that is, at Him. Then He veils Himself from them, while a light from His light remains in their dwellings.”
