833 — Muhammad ibn Abd al-Rahman ibn al-Abbas informed us: Isma'il ibn al-Abbas al-Warraq narrated to us; al-Hasan ibn Arafah narrated to us; Yazid ibn Harun narrated to us; Hammad ibn Salamah narrated to us, from Thabit, from Abd al-Rahman ibn Abi Layla, from Suhayb, who said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said:
“When the inhabitants of Paradise enter Paradise, they will be called: ‘O inhabitants of Paradise, Allah has a promise for you which you have not yet seen.’ They will say, ‘What is it? Has He not brightened our faces, delivered us from the Fire, and admitted us into Paradise?’ Then He will remove the veil, and they will look upon Him. By Allah, Allah will not have given them anything more beloved to them than this.”
He then recited: “For those who do good is the finest reward—and more besides.” [Yunus 10:26]
