819 — ‘Ali ibn Muhammad ibn Ahmad ibn Ya‘qub informed us. He said: ‘Abd al-Rahman ibn Abi Hatim informed us; Muhammad ibn ‘Abd Allah ibn Yazid al-Muqri’ narrated to us; Sufyan ibn ‘Uyaynah narrated to us—from another route.

820 — And ‘Ubayd Allah ibn Ahmad informed us. He said: al-Husayn ibn Isma‘il informed us; ‘Ali ibn Shu‘ayb narrated to us; Abu Usamah narrated to us; Sufyan ibn ‘Uyaynah narrated to us—from another route.

822 — And al-Hasan ibn ‘Uthman informed us. He said: Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn Ziyad informed us; Isma‘il ibn Ishaq narrated to us; ‘Ali ibn ‘Abd Allah al-Madini narrated to us—from another route.

823 — And al-Hasan informed us. He said: Ahmad ibn al-Hasan ibn Yunus informed us; Sulayman ibn al-Ash‘ath narrated to us; Ishaq ibn Isma‘il narrated to us; Sufyan narrated to us, from Suhayl ibn Abi Salih, who heard him narrating from his father, from Abu Hurayrah, who said:

We said, “O Messenger of Allah, will we see our Lord on the Day of Resurrection?” He said, “Do you have any difficulty seeing the sun at midday when it is not obscured by clouds?” They said, “No.” He said, “Do you have any difficulty seeing the moon on the night of the full moon when it is not obscured by a cloud?” They said, “No.” He said, “By Him in Whose Hand is my soul, you will have no difficulty seeing Him, just as you have no difficulty seeing either of them.”

The wording is that of the hadith of Ishaq ibn Isma‘il. ⦗525⦘ Muslim recorded it in the Sahih, and Abu Dawud in the Sunan.
