810 — Al-Husayn informed us, saying: I heard Abu Zur‘ah Ahmad ibn al-Husayn al-Razi say: I heard Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn al-Husayn say:
“Muhammad ibn Abdullah ibn Abd al-Hakam was asked, ‘Will all people—believers and disbelievers—see their Lord on the Day of Resurrection?’ Muhammad replied, ‘None will see Him except the believers.’
Muhammad said: Al-Shafi‘i was asked about the beatific vision, and he replied: ‘Allah says: “Indeed, on that Day they will be veiled from their Lord.” [al-Mutaffifin 83:15] This proves that the believers will not be veiled from Allah.’”
٨١٠ - أَخْبَرَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ أَبَا زُرْعَةَ أَحْمَدَ بْنَ الْحُسَيْنِ الرَّازِيُّ يَقُولُ: سَمِعْتُ أَحْمَدَ بْنَ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْحُسَيْنِ، يَقُولُ: " سُئِلَ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْحَكَمِ هَلْ يَرَى الْخَلْقُ كُلُّهُمْ رَبَّهُمْ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ , الْمُؤْمِنُونَ وَالْكُفَّارُ؟ فَقَالَ مُحَمَّدٌ: " لَيْسَ يَرَاهُ إِلَّا الْمُؤْمِنُونَ قَالَ مُحَمَّدٌ: وَسُئِلَ الشَّافِعِيُّ عَنِ الرُّؤْيَةِ؟ فَقَالَ: يَقُولُ اللَّهُ ﷿ ﴿كَلَّا إِنَّهُمْ عَنْ رَبِّهِمْ يَوْمَئِذٍ لَمَحْجُوبُونَ﴾ [المطففين: ١٥] فَفِي هَذَا دَلِيلٌ عَلَى أَنَّ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ لَا يُحْجَبُونَ عَنِ اللَّهِ ﷿ "
