Abd al-Rahman ibn Amr informed us. He said: Mahmud ibn Ja‘far ibn Yazid narrated to us; Abd Allah ibn Abi Sa‘d narrated to us; Muhammad ibn Umar al-Qasabi narrated to us; Abd al-Warith ibn Sa‘id narrated to us; Amr narrated to us, from al-Hasan, concerning His saying, “No indeed! On that Day they will be veiled from their Lord” [Quran 83:15]. He said:

“When the Day of Resurrection comes, our Lord will manifest Himself, and all creatures will see Him. The disbelievers, however, will be veiled and will not see Him. This is the meaning of His saying, ‘No indeed! On that Day they will be veiled from their Lord’ [Quran 83:15].”
