795 — Al-Hasan ibn Uthman and Muhammad ibn Ahmad ibn Abi Tahir informed us; they said: Ahmad ibn Salman narrated to us; he said: Muhammad ibn Abd Allah narrated to us; he said: Uthman ibn Muhammad narrated to us; he said: Jarir narrated to us, from Layth, from Ibn Sabit, who said: “And more” [Yunus 10:26] means looking upon the Face of their Lord.
٧٩٥ - أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ، وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ أَبِي طَاهِرٍ، قَالَا: حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ سَلْمَانَ، قَالَ: ثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، قَالَ: ثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، قَالَ: ثَنَا جَرِيرٌ، عَنْ لَيْثٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ سَابِطٍ، قَالَ: " ﴿وَزِيَادَةٌ﴾ [يونس: ٢٦] النَّظَرُ إِلَى وَجْهِ رَبِّهِمْ "
