771 — Al-Husayn informed us; Ahmad informed us; Bishr narrated to us; Abdullah ibn Yazid al-Muqri' narrated to us; Harmalah ibn Imran narrated to us; Sulayman ibn Humaydanah related to me that he heard Muhammad ibn Ka'b al-Qurazi narrating from Umar ibn Abd al-Aziz, who said:

“When Allah has finished with the people of Paradise and the people of Hell, He—Glorified and Exalted is He—will come in shades of cloud, with the angels accompanying Him. He will stand before the people of the first rank in Paradise and greet them, and they will return His greeting. This is indicated by His saying: ‘Peace—a word from a Merciful Lord.’ [Ya-Sin: 58]”
