770 — Al-Husayn informed us; Ahmad informed us; Bishr ibn Musa narrated to us; Abdah narrated to us; Husayn al-Ju'fi narrated to us, from Abd al-Aziz ibn Abi Rawwad, who said:
Whenever the Night of the Middle of Sha'ban and what was said concerning it were mentioned in Ata's presence, he would say: “I hope that this is the case on every night.”
٧٧٠ - أَخْبَرَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ، قَالَ: ثَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ مُوسَى، قَالَ: ثَنَا عَبْدَةُ، قَالَ: ثَنَا حُسَيْنُ الْجُعْفِيُّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ بْنِ أَبِي رَوَّادٍ، قَالَ: كَانَ عَطَاءٌ إِذْ ذُكِرَ عِنْدَهُ لَيْلَةُ النِّصْفِ مِنْ شَعْبَانَ وَمَا يُقَالُ فِيهَا فَيَقُولُ: «إِنِّي لَأَرْجُو أَنْ يَكُونَ ذَلِكَ فِي كُلِّ لَيْلَةٍ»
