766 — Ahmad ibn Ubayd informed us: Ahmad ibn Isa ibn Sikkīn informed us: Abu Umar Abd al-Hamid ibn Muhammad ibn al-Mustam narrated to us: my father, Muhammad ibn al-Mustam, narrated to us: Ubayd Allah ibn Amr narrated to us, from Zayd ibn Abi Unaysa, from Tariq ibn Abd al-Rahman, who said: I heard Sa'id ibn Jubayr say: I heard Ibn Abbas say:
“During Ramadan, each night Allah waits until the first third of the night has passed, then He descends to the lowest heaven and says: ‘Is there anyone who asks, that he may be given? Is there anyone seeking forgiveness, that he may be forgiven? Is there anyone who repents, that his repentance may be accepted?’”
٧٦٦ - أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عِيسَى بْنِ سِكِّينٍ، قَالَ: ثَنَا أَبُو عُمَرَ عَبْدُ الْحَمِيدِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْمُسْتَامِ، قَالَ: ثَنَا أَبِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُسْتَامِ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَمْرٍو، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَبِي أُنَيْسَةَ، عَنْ طَارِقِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ سَعِيدَ بْنَ جُبَيْرٍ، يَقُولُ: سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ، يَقُولُ: " إِنَّ اللَّهَ يُمْهِلُ فِي شَهْرِ رَمَضَانَ كُلَّ لَيْلَةٍ إِذَا ذَهَبَ الثُّلُثُ الْأَوَّلُ مِنَ اللَّيْلِ هَبَطَ إِلَى سَمَاءِ الدُّنْيَا ثُمَّ قَالَ: هَلْ مِنْ سَائِلٍ فَيُعْطَى؟ هَلْ مِنْ مُسْتَغْفِرِ فَيُغْفَرُ لَهُ؟ هَلْ مِنْ تَائِبٍ فَيُتَابُ عَلَيْهِ؟ "
