758—Ahmad ibn Ubayd informed us. He said: Ali ibn Abd Allah ibn Mubashshir informed us. He said: Ahmad ibn Sinan narrated to us. He said: Affan narrated to us. He said: Hammad ibn Salamah narrated to us: Amr ibn Dinar informed us, from Nafi ibn Jubayr ibn Mutim, from his father.

759—And Ubayd Allah ibn Ahmad informed us. He said: Abd Allah ibn Muhammad ibn Ziyad informed us. He said: Muhammad ibn Yahya narrated to us. He said: Abu al-Walid narrated to us. He said: Hammad narrated to us, from Amr ibn Dinar, from Nafi ibn Jubayr ibn Mutim, from his father, that the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said: “Allah descends to the lowest heaven every ⦗492⦘ night and says: ‘Is there anyone who asks, so that I may grant him? Is there anyone who seeks forgiveness, so that I may forgive him?’” ⦗493⦘ Their wording is identical.

٧٥٨ - أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مُبَشِّرٍ، قَالَ: ثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ سِنَانٍ، قَالَ: ثَنَا عَفَّانُ، قَالَ: ثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ دِينَارٍ، عَنْ نَافِعِ بْنِ جُبَيْرِ بْنِ مُطْعِمٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، ح. ٧٥٩ - وَأَخْبَرَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ، قَالَ: ثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى، قَالَ: ثَنَا أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ، قَالَ: ثَنَا حَمَّادٌ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ، عَنْ نَافِعِ بْنِ جُبَيْرِ بْنِ مُطْعِمٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ: " يَنْزِلُ اللَّهُ إِلَى سَمَاءِ الدُّنْيَا كُلَّ ⦗٤٩٢⦘ لَيْلَةٍ فَيَقُولُ: هَلْ مِنْ سَائِلٍ فَأُعْطِيَهُ؟ هَلْ مِنْ مُسْتَغْفِرٍ فَأَغْفِرَ لَهُ؟ " ⦗٤٩٣⦘ لَفْظُهُمَا سَوَاءٌ
