750 — Ubayd Allah ibn Ahmad ibn Ali informed us: Abd Allah ibn Muhammad ibn Ziyad related to us; Yunus ibn Abd al-Ala related to us; Abd Allah ibn Wahb informed us; Amr ibn al-Harith informed me, from Abd al-Malik ibn Abd al-Malik, from Musab ibn Abi Dhib, from al-Qasim ibn Muhammad, from his father—or from his paternal uncle—from his grandfather Abu Bakr, that the Prophet ﷺ said:
“Indeed, Allah descends to the lowest heaven on the night of the middle of Sha'ban and forgives therein every human being, except a disbeliever or a man whose heart harbours rancour.”
٧٥٠ - أَخْبَرَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ، قَالَ: ثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ، قَالَ: ثَنَا يُونُسُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْأَعْلَى، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ وَهْبٍ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي عَمْرُو بْنُ الْحَارِثِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ، عَنْ مُصْعَبِ بْنِ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ، عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، أَوْ عَنْ عَمِّهِ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ: «إِنَّ اللَّهَ ﵎ يَنْزِلُ إِلَى سَمَا الدُّنْيَا لَيْلَةَ النِّصْفِ مِنْ شَعْبَانَ فَيَغْفِرُ فِيهَا لِكُلِّ بَشَرٍ مَا خَلَا كَافِرًا أَوْ رَجُلًا فِي قَلْبِهِ شَحْنَاءُ»
