- Al-Husayn ibn Ahmad ibn Ibrahim al-Tabari informed us; Abd Allah ibn Sa‘d al-Burujirdi narrated to us; Abd Allah ibn Muhammad ibn Wahb al-Dinawari narrated to us; Isma‘il ibn Abi Khalid narrated to us; Ayyub ibn Suwayd narrated to us, from Abd Allah ibn Shawdhab, from Ayyub, who said:
“Part of the good fortune of a young person and a non-Arab is that Allah grants them success in finding a scholar from among the people of the sunnah.”
٣٠ - أَخْبَرَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الطَّبَرِيُّ , ثنا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ سَعْدٍ الْبُرُوجِرْدِيُّ , ثنا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ وَهْبٍ الدِّينَوَرِيُّ , ثنا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ أَبِي خَالِدٍ , ثنا أَيُّوبُ بْنُ سُوَيْدٍ , عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ شَوْذَبٍ , عَنْ أَيُّوبَ , قَالَ: «إِنَّ مِنْ سَعَادَةِ الْحَدَثِ وَالْأَعْجَمِيِّ أَنْ يُوَفِّقَهُمَا اللَّهُ لِعَالِمٍ مِنْ أَهْلِ السُّنَّةِ»
