741 — Ahmad informed us. Muhammad ibn Ahmad ibn Sulayman informed us. He said: Abu Ali al-Hasan ibn Yusuf ibn Ya'qub narrated to us. He said: Abu Muhammad Ahmad ibn Ali ibn Zayd al-Ghujdawani narrated to us. He said: Abu Abdullah Muhammad ibn Abi Amr al-Tawawisi narrated to us. He said: Amr ibn Wahb said: I heard Shaddad ibn Hakim mention, on the authority of Muhammad ibn al-Hasan, regarding the hadiths which state, “Indeed, Allah descends to the lowest heaven,” and similar hadiths: “These hadiths have been transmitted by trustworthy narrators. We therefore transmit them, believe in them, and do not interpret them.”
٧٤١ - أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ، أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ سُلَيْمَانَ، قَالَ: ثَنَا أَبُو عَلِيٍّ الْحَسَنُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ بْنِ يَعْقُوبَ، قَالَ: ثَنَا أَبُو مُحَمَّدٍ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ زَيْدٍ الْغُجْدَوَانِيُّ قَالَ: ثَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي عَمْرٍو الطَّوَاوِيسِيُّ قَالَ: ثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ وَهْبٍ، يَقُولُ: سَمِعْتُ شَدَّادَ بْنَ حَكِيمٍ يَذْكُرُ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْحَسَنِ، فِي الْأَحَادِيثِ الَّتِي جَاءَتْ: «إِنَّ اللَّهَ يَهْبِطُ إِلَى سَمَاءِ الدُّنْيَا» وَنَحْوَ هَذَا مِنَ الْأَحَادِيثِ: إِنَّ هَذِهِ الْأَحَادِيثَ قَدْ رَوَتْهَا الثِّقَاتُ، فَنَحْنُ نَرْوِيهَا وَنُؤْمِنُ بِهَا وَلَا نُفَسِّرُهَا
