738 — Abd Allah ibn Muhammad ibn Ahmad informed us; Uthman ibn Ahmad informed us; Hanbal narrated to us. He said:
I said to Abu Abd Allah, “Will Allah speak to His servant on the Day of Resurrection?”
He replied, “Yes. For who else will judge between the creation but Allah? Allah will speak to him and question him. He has never ceased speaking as He wills and judging; there is no equal to Allah, nor anything like Him—however and whenever He wills.”
٧٣٨ - أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَحْمَدَ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ، قَالَ: ثَنَا حَنْبَلٌ، قَالَ: قُلْتُ لِأَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ: " يُكَلِّمُ اللَّهُ عَبْدَهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ؟ قَالَ: نَعَمْ , فَمَنْ يَقْضِي بَيْنَ الْخَلْقِ إِلَّا اللَّهُ , يُكَلِّمُهُ اللَّهُ ﷿ , وَيَسْأَلُهُ اللَّهُ ﷿ مُتَكَلِّمٌ لَمْ يَزَلْ بِمَا شَاءَ وَيْحَكُمُ وَلَيْسَ لِلَّهِ عِدْلٌ وَلَا مِثْلٌ ﵎ كَيْفَ شَاءَ وَأَنَّى شَاءَ
