723 — Muhammad ibn Abd Allah al-Ju‘fi informed us; he said: Abd Allah ibn Ali ibn al-Qasim informed us; he said: Muhammad ibn al-Husayn al-Farra’ narrated to us; he said: al-Qa‘nabi narrated to us, from Malik, from Abu al-Zinad, from al-A‘raj, from Abu Hurayrah, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said:
“Allah laughs at two men, one of whom kills the other, yet both enter Paradise. This one fights in the cause of Allah and is killed; then Allah accepts the killer’s repentance, and he fights in the cause of Allah and is martyred.”

٧٢٣ - أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْجُعْفِيُّ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْقَاسِمِ، قَالَ: ثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ الْفَرَّاءُ، قَالَ: ثَنَا الْقَعْنَبِيُّ، عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ، عَنِ الْأَعْرَجِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ: «يَضْحَكُ اللَّهُ إِلَى رَجُلَيْنِ قَتَلَ أَحَدُهُمَا الْآخَرَ كِلَاهُمَا يَدْخُلُ الْجَنَّةَ , يُقَاتِلُ هَذَا فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ فَيُقْتَلُ , ثُمَّ يَتُوبُ اللَّهُ عَلَى الْقَاتِلِ فَيُقَاتِلُ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ فَيُسْتَشْهَدُ» أَخْرَجَهُ الْبُخَارِيُّ
