718 — Ahmad ibn Ubayd informed us; he said: Ali ibn Ubayd Allah ibn Mubashshir informed us; he said: Ahmad ibn Sinan narrated to us; he said: Bahz ibn Asad narrated to us; he said: Shubah narrated to us; he said: Qatadah narrated to me; he said: I heard Anas narrating from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, who said: “Allah sent no prophet without warning his nation about the Dajjal. Indeed, he is the one-eyed liar, whereas your Lord is not one-eyed. Written between his eyes is: ‘disbeliever’; every believer will read it.”
