697—Ubayd Allah ibn Ahmad informed us; he said: Ahmad ibn Ali ibn al-Ula informed us; he said: Yusuf ibn Musa narrated to us; he said: al-Fadl ibn Dukayn narrated to us; he said: Abu Qudamah al-Harith ibn Ubayd narrated to us, from Abu Imran al-Jawni, from Abu Bakr ibn Abd Allah ibn Qays, from his father, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said:
“The Gardens of Firdaws consist of two gardens of gold—their ornaments, vessels, and all that is in them are of gold—and two gardens of silver—their ornaments, vessels, and all that is in them are of silver. Nothing stands between the people and their looking upon their Lord except the cloak of majesty over His Face in the Gardens of Eden. From the Gardens of Eden, it pours forth into a hollow, after which the rivers branch out.”
