678—Al-Hasan ibn Uthman informed us: Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn Ziyad informed us: Abdullah ibn Rawh narrated to us: Uthman ibn Umar narrated to us: Isra'il informed us, from Maysarah ibn Habib, from al-Minhal ibn Amr, from Sa'id ibn Jubayr, from Ibn Abbas, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said:
“If a person says seven times in the presence of a sick person—provided that Allah knows that he will not die from that illness—‘I ask Allah the Magnificent, Lord of the Magnificent Throne, to heal you,’ Allah will heal him.”
٦٧٨ - أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ، قَالَ: نَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ رَوْحٍ، قَالَ: ثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ عُمَرَ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْرَائِيلُ، عَنْ مَيْسَرَةَ بْنِ حَبِيبٍ، عَنِ الْمِنْهَالِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ: " إِذَا قَالَ الرَّجُلُ عِنْدَ الْمَرِيضِ وَكَانَ فِي عِلْمِ اللَّهِ أَنْ لَا يَمُوتَ فِي مَرَضِهِ ذَلِكَ: أَسْأَلُ اللَّهَ الْعَظِيمَ رَبَّ الْعَرْشِ الْعَظِيمِ أَنْ يَشْفِيَكَ سَبْعَ مَرَّاتٍ شَفَاهُ اللَّهُ "
