670 – Muhammad ibn al-Husayn ibn Ya‘qub informed us: Da‘lij ibn Ahmad informed us; Ahmad ibn Ali al-Abbar narrated to us; Muhammad ibn Mansur al-Tusi narrated to us; Nuh ibn Maymun narrated to us; Bukayr ibn Ma‘ruf narrated to us, from Muqatil ibn Hayyan, regarding the saying of Allah, Exalted is He: “No private conversation is there among three but that He is their fourth, nor among five but that He is their sixth” [al-Mujadilah: 7]. He said: “He is above the Throne, and nothing escapes His knowledge.”
٦٧٠ - أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ يَعْقُوبَ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا دَعْلَجُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ، قَالَ: ثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْأَبَّارُ، قَالَ: ثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ الطُّوسِيُّ، قَالَ: ثَنَا نُوحُ بْنُ مَيْمُونٍ، قَالَ: ثَنَا بُكَيْرُ بْنُ مَعْرُوفٍ، عَنْ مُقَاتِلِ بْنِ حَيَّانَ، فِي قَوْلِهِ تَعَالَى ﴿مَا يَكُونُ مِنْ نَجْوَى ثَلَاثَةٍ إِلَّا هُوَ رَابِعُهُمْ وَلَا خَمْسَةٍ إِلَّا هُوَ سَادِسُهُمْ﴾ [المجادلة: ٧] قَالَ: " هُوَ عَلَى الْعَرْشِ وَلَنْ يَخْلُوَ شَيْءٌ مِنْ عِلْمِهِ
