669 – Isa ibn Ali informed us: Abd Allah ibn Muhammad al-Baghawi informed us; Ali ibn Muslim narrated to us; Sayyar narrated to us; Ja'far ibn Sulayman narrated to us; Thabit narrated to us ⦗444⦘:
“David would prolong the prayer, then bow, then raise his head and say: ‘To You I raise my head, O You who fill the heaven. The servants look toward their masters, O Dweller in the heaven.’”
٦٦٩ - أَخْبَرَنَا عِيسَى بْنُ عَلِيٍّ، أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْبَغَوِيُّ، قَالَ: نَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ، قَالَ: ثَنَا سَيَّارٌ، قَالَ: ثَنَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، قَالَ: ثَنَا ثَابِتٌ، قَالَ ⦗٤٤٤⦘: " كَانَ دَاوُدُ يُطِيلُ الصَّلَاةَ , ثُمَّ يَرْكَعُ , ثُمَّ يَرْفَعُ رَأْسَهُ , ثُمَّ يَقُولُ: «إِلَيْكَ رَفَعْتُ رَأْسِي يَا عَامِرَ السَّمَاءِ نَظَرَ الْعَبِيدُ إِلَى أَرْبَابِهَا يَا سَاكِنَ السَّمَاءِ»
