- Abdullah ibn Ahmad and Muhammad ibn Abdullah ibn al-Qasim informed us. They said: Al-Husayn ibn Yahya informed us; Ali ibn Muslim narrated to us; Sa'id ibn Amir narrated to us; Hazm narrated to us from Yunus, who said:
“It has become such that one who knows the sunnah knows it as a stranger, and stranger still than him is one who knows it.”
٢١ - أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ , وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الْقَاسِمِ , قَالَا: أَخْبَرَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ يَحْيَى , ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ , ثنا سَعِيدُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ , ثنا حَزْمٌ عَنْ يُونُسَ , قَالَ: " أَصْبَحَ مَنْ إِذَا عَرَفَ السُّنَّةَ عَرَفَهَا غَرِيبًا , وَأَغْرَبُ مِنْهُ مَنْ يَعْرِفُهَا
