“My father hardly ever had dreams, yet he said: ‘In a dream, I saw a man of handsome appearance who asked me, “What do you say concerning the Quran?” I thought, “I shall ask him about it,” so I said, “What do you say concerning it?” He replied, “In the language of the Arabs, creation means determination; and the speech of Allah is far too exalted to be determined.”’”
