Muhammad informed us. Ahmad informed us. Abd Allah ibn Ahmad informed us. My father informed us. Muhammad ibn Ishaq al-Saghani informed us, saying: I heard Ishaq ⦗384⦘ ibn Isma‘il say: I heard Sufyan ibn Uyaynah say: “We know of no better statement than this: ‘The Quran is the speech of Allah.’ ‘They wish to change the words of Allah.’” [al-Fath 48:15]
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدٌ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ قَالَ: ثنا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ قَالَ: أَبِي نا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ الصَّغَانِيُّ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ إِسْحَاقَ ⦗٣٨٤⦘ بْنَ إِسْمَاعِيلَ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ سُفْيَانَ بْنَ عُيَيْنَةَ يَقُولُ: لَا نُحْسِنُ غَيْرَ هَذَا: الْقُرْآنُ كَلَامُ اللَّهِ ﴿يُرِيدُونَ أَنْ يُبَدِّلُوا كَلَامَ اللَّهِ﴾ [الفتح: ١٥]
