We were informed:
578 — Ahmad ibn Ubayd informed us. Ahmad ibn Abd Allah ibn Nasr informed us. He said: Ziyad ibn Ayyub, Muhammad ibn Abd Allah ibn al-Mubarak al-Mukharrimi, and al-Hasan ibn ⦗383⦘ Muhammad al-Sabbah narrated to us. They said: Rawh ibn Ubadah narrated to us. He said: Shu'bah narrated to us, from al-A'mash, from Abu Salih, from Abu Hurayrah, who said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said:
“There is no envy except in two cases: a man whom Allah has taught the Quran, and who recites it night and day; then one of his neighbors hears him and says, ‘If only I had been given what he has been given, so that I could do as he does.’”
Al-Bukhari reported it from Ali ibn Ibrahim, from Rawh.

٥٧٨ - أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ , أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ نَصْرٍ قَالَ: ثَنَا زِيَادُ بْنُ أَيُّوبَ , وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الْمُبَارَكِ الْمُخَرِّمِيُّ , وَالْحَسَنُ بْنُ ⦗٣٨٣⦘ مُحَمَّدٍ الصَّبَّاحُ , قَالُوا: ثنا رَوْحُ بْنُ عُبَادَةَ قَالَ: ثنا شُعْبَةُ , عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ , عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ , عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ: " لَا حَسَدَ إِلَّا فِي اثْنَتَيْنِ: رَجُلٌ عَلَّمَهُ اللَّهُ الْقُرْآنَ فَهُوَ يَتْلُوهُ بِاللَّيْلِ وَالنَّهَارِ , فَسَمِعَهُ جَارٌ لَهُ فَقَالَ: يَا لَيْتَنِي أُوتَى مَا أُوتِيَ , فَعَمِلْتُ مِثْلَ الَّذِي يَعْمَلُ ". أَخْرَجَهُ الْبُخَارِيُّ , عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ , عَنْ رَوْحٍ
