557—Ubayd Allah ibn Muhammad ibn Ahmad informed us. He said: Muhammad ibn Abd Allah ibn Attab informed us. He said: Yahya ibn Ja‘far narrated to me. He said: Abd al-Wahhab ibn Ata narrated to us. He said: Sa‘id informed us, from al-Ash‘ath al-A‘ma, from Shahr ibn Hawshab, from Abu Hurayrah, from the Prophet, blessings and peace be upon him, who said:

“The superiority of Allah’s speech over all other speech is like the superiority of Allah over all the rest of His creation.”
