506 — ʿAbd al-Raḥmān ibn Aḥmad al-Qazwīnī informed us: Muḥammad ibn ⦗350⦘ ʿAlī ibn Muḥammad ibn ʿĀmir al-Nahāwandī narrated to us; Aḥmad ibn ʿAbd Allāh, the agent of Abū Ṣakhrah, narrated to us; Ibrāhīm ibn al-Junayd narrated to us; al-Qāsim ibn Yazīd al-Ashjaʿī, Abū Muḥammad, told me: I heard Wakīʿ ibn al-Jarrāḥ say: “Whoever claims that the Quran is created has claimed that the Quran is originated; and whoever claims that the Quran is originated has disbelieved in what Allah sent down to Muhammad, may Allah bless him and grant him peace. He is to be asked to repent; if he repents, otherwise his neck is to be struck.”
