502 — Muhammad ibn Abd al-Rahman ibn al-Abbas informed us: Abdullah ibn Muhammad al-Baghawi narrated to us: Hafs ibn Amr al-Rabali narrated to us. In another chain, Muhammad ibn al-Husayn al-Farisi and al-Qasim ibn Jafar informed us; they said: al-Hasan ibn Yahya ibn Ayyash narrated to us: Hafs ibn Umar narrated to us: I heard Abd al-Rahman ibn Mahdi say, “I would not put any adherent of deviant beliefs to the sword except the Jahmites.” ⦗349⦘ Al-Rabali said, “By Allah, they are disbelievers.”
٥٠٢ - أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْعَبَّاسِ قَالَ: ثنا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْبَغَوِيُّ قَالَ: ثنا حَفْصُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو الرَّبَالِيُّ , ح. وَأَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ الْفَارِسِيُّ , وَالْقَاسِمُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ قَالَا: حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ يَحْيَى بْنِ عَيَّاشٍ قَالَ: ثنا حَفْصُ بْنُ عُمَرَ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنَ مَهْدِيٍّ يَقُولُ: مَا كُنْتُ أَعْرِضُ أَحَدًا مِنْ أَهْلِ الْأَهْوَاءِ عَلَى السَّيْفِ إِلَّا الْجَهْمِيَّةَ ⦗٣٤٩⦘. قَالَ الرَّبَالِيُّ: هُمْ وَاللَّهِ كُفَّارٌ
