- Al-Qasim ibn Ja‘far informed us: Muhammad ibn Ahmad ibn ‘Amr narrated to us; Sulayman ibn al-Ash‘ath narrated to us; Yahya ibn Ayyub narrated to us; Isma‘il ibn Ja‘far narrated to us; al-‘Ala’ — that is, Ibn Abd al-Rahman — informed us, from his father, from Abu Hurayrah, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: “Whoever calls to guidance shall have a reward equivalent to the rewards of those who follow him, without that diminishing anything from their rewards. And whoever calls to misguidance shall bear a sin equivalent to the sins of those who follow him, without that diminishing anything from their sins.” Muslim and Abu Dawud recorded it.
٦ - أَخْبَرَنَا الْقَاسِمُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ , حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ عَمْرٍو , ثنا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ الْأَشْعَثِ , ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَيُّوبَ , ثنا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ , أنبا الْعَلَاءُ يَعْنِي ابْنَ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ , عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ , أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ: «مَنْ دَعَا إِلَى هُدًى كَانَ لَهُ مِنَ الْأَجْرِ مِثْلُ أُجُورِ مَنْ تَبِعَهُ لَا يَنْقُصُ ذَلِكَ مَنْ أُجُورِهِمْ شَيْئًا , وَمَنْ دَعَا إِلَى ضَلَالَةٍ كَانَ لَهُ مِنَ الْإِثْمِ مِثْلُ آثَامِ مَنْ تَبِعَهُ لَا يَنْقُصُ ذَلِكَ مَنْ آثَامِهِمْ شَيْئًا» . أَخْرَجَهُ مُسْلِمٌ وَأَبُو دَاوُدَ
